JULZ GREENE
Julz is a graduate of the Columbia Postbac Program. She originally hails from NY but now calls Warren, OH home. She attended St. John’s University for undergrad. and had the great fortune of experiencing two careers. Julz is an entrepreneur and is married with two children. She served on the P.P.S.C. as VP of Medical School Operations and volunteers with Project S.T.A.Y. She continues to serve on several boards and national organizations, and manages her own charitable organization: #mission:givegLOVEs

ADRIAN PUENTES
Adrian is a graduate of the Columbia Postbac program. Prior to moving to New York in 2019, he was a High School Physics & Chemistry teacher in Los Angeles. Adrian now works as a clinical research coordinator in the Emergency Department at Columbia Medical Center. Adrian volunteers as a Health Educator for Project Stay. In his free time, you can find Adrian lifting weights, watching drag performances, and biking around the city.
ISRA ELDOSOUGI
Isra is a GS graduate who studied Evolutionary Biology. She is interested in the intersection between human rights and healthcare. She taught English and worked with women and children with physical disabilities when living in Sudan. She serves as a Board Officer of the Women in Medicine Committee of Columbia’s American Medical Student Association. Currently, she volunteers to provide mental health resources for COVID.
LIA FARRELL
Lia attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a psychology degree. Afterward, she worked as a research coordinator in obstetric anesthesiology, looking at the effect of pain on postpartum depression. Before starting the Postbaccalaureate Premedical program at Columbia, she traveled for a year through Asia and worked in a refugee camp in Greece. Lia finished Columbia 's post-bac program and is working as a contact tracer.
CHELSIA MELENDEZ
Chelsia is a graduate of Columbia's University Postbaccalaureate Premedical program and currently a medical student at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Prior to joining Columbia, she worked as a doula and sustainability & social responsibility analyst for the US Chamber of Commerce Foundation in DC. She went to undergrad at American University. She enjoys yoga, watching docuseries, and dancing.
MONICA RAISS
Monica is a graduate of Columbia University’s Postbaccalaureate Premedical program and currently a medical student at Renaissance School of Medicine (RSOM) at Stony Brooky University. She was born in Los Angeles, CA, and currently lives and works in New York, NY. Beyond her aspirations of becoming a physician committed to health justice, she enjoys deejaying and playing tennis.
LEYLA WADE
Leyla is a graduate of Columbia's Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program. She went to undergrad at Wesleyan University and studied Psychology. She currently works as a medical scribe and health educator for formally incaracted indviduals and LGBTQ homeless youth.
